Parent Views

What do our parents think of the school. Well, on 30th October 2015, we received an amazing letter from the parents of Landscove school. What a lovely way to begin the half term. The staff had a real boost to morale and were touched by your heart felt comments. Thank you to you all!

Curriculum:

From the questionnaire I have noted that a few of you are uncertain about the curriculum we offer.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents that Curriculum information can be found under the Our School tab on this website. Here you will find links to the New National Curriculum, The Rolling Programme for each class for the whole year and termly curriculum maps for each class.

In order to further support parent’s understanding of what we teach the staff have also held a curriculum afternoon~ Family Fun Friday (6th March). Many of you attended the calculations talk as well as spending time in classrooms taking part in problem solving activities alongside your children. We hope this will have given you a flavour of what’s on offer in our classrooms.

Notice for events:

We aim to ensure that all events are well planned, giving ourselves and parents enough notice to organise things such as transport. Schedules are rather full and often events are arranged by other providers at the last minute. We prefer to take part rather than miss out, so please bear with us!

The role of Governors:

April 21st: Meet the Governors event. We hope this will give parents the opportunity to meet our governing body and begin to gain an understanding of the role governors play across the federation schools.
